Sunrise is a movement of young people (under the age of 35) working to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process. We fight for a clean, sustainable future through systemic change like the Green New Deal. We don’t subscribe to the notion that in order for some to have a healthy, livable future, others must suffer.
Those in power try to convince us nothing can change. Instead of believing them, we’re on a mission to put everyday people back in charge and show that by uniting people across race, class, and geography we can build a world that works for all of us, now and for generations to come.
