Sunrise Chicago is Chicago’s local chapter of the Sunrise Movement, a youth-led (under 35) movement fighting to end billionaire rule, combat the climate crisis, and win a Green New Deal.

Those in power try to convince us nothing can change, but we know that there is power in people coming together. We’re on a mission to put everyday people back in charge and build a world that works for all of us, now and for generations to come.

Together, we can force all levels of government to enact a just transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, invest in Black, Brown, & working class communities, & create millions of good union jobs.
